Our Achecivements

In order to fulfill the food needs of the growing population, the Department of Agricultural Extension has been able to produce bumper crops like vegetables, fruits and flowers in the last 4 years through the transfer of advanced technology among the farmers. Dinajpur Horticulture Centre, under Horticulture Wing, is carrying out the above mentioned activities for expansion of the horticultural crops. In this program, improved quality seed /grafts, seedlings production and distribution work has been strengthened among the farmers. During the last four years, 185544 No. fruits and 8714 No. flowers / grafts of 4,157 flowering plants / grafts, 1560 medicinal plants / grafts, 3900 spices of 4 / grafts, 192,200 vegetable seedlings and 48114 mushroom spoon packets and 90.65 kg fresh mushrooms are available through this Horticulture Centre has been produced. Out of which, in the last three years, the revenue income of Taka 26,64,849 / -(Taka Twenty Six Lac Sixty Four Thousands Eight hundred Forty Nine Only)
